Coverity Names Steven Machernis as Managing Director - EMEA
Former director of Motorola's embedded computing business in Europe brings
22 years of technology management experience to leading source code analysis company
SAN FRANCISCO, February 13, 2006 – Coverity, Inc., makers of the world’s most advanced and scalable source code analysis solution, today announced the appointment of Steven Machernis as Managing Director - Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this role, Machernis will manage sales, support, services, partnerships, channel development and marketing in EMEA.
Prior to joining Coverity, Machernis held a number of international management and business development roles with the embedded computing business of Motorola Networks. Along with a number of positions throughout the U.S., Machernis held leadership roles in the UK and Germany where he drove Motorola’s European efforts to capitalize on high growth communications opportunities as Director, Telecommunications Segment Sales. After returning to the Boston area, he held the position of Director, North American Sales – Eastern Region.
