This ongoing series is designed to help software development organizations understand how they can control development costs and accelerate time to market for new products. By presenting industry best practices and emerging technologies that help development teams to improve the quality and security of their code, Coverity’s web seminar series will enable development teams from around the world to learn from trusted industry experts how they can develop high integrity software.

• Scan Open Source Report 2009 - Launched as a joint venture with support from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Coverity's Scan site provides static source code analysis to over 250 open source projects representing over 50 millions lines of code such as Samba, Linux, and OpenSSL. To date, more than 8,500 defects have been eliminated by open source developers using information from the Scan site.
