Rapid Implementation Service Package

In the Rapid Implementation Service Package, Coverity develops and deploys a Coverity Software system architecture customized to the customer’s existing build environment. Includes:

• Assistance with installation, set up, and configuration
• Implementation of Coverity Static Analysis within Customer’s existing build environment
• On site training for tool administrators and developers

Duration of standard Rapid Implementation service package: 4.5 days on site.
Duration of standard Rapid Implementation package for Small and Medium Businesses: 3.5 days.
Upgraded packages with additional days can be purchased for $2400 per day.

• Day 1: Planning, Administrator training (maximum 15 students)
• Day 2-4: Build environment assessment, generate optimal deployment proposal, implement optimal deployment
• Day 5: Developer training (maximum 15 students)

Scheduling will be mutually agreed upon by Coverity and Customer.

SMB Install Service Package

In the Small and Medium Business Install Service Package, Coverity deploys Coverity Static Analysis on a single host within the existing build environment. Includes:

• Assistance with installation, set up, and configuration of Coverity Static Analysis on a single host
• Access to On Demand recorded training for tool administrators and developers

Duration of standard Rapid Implementation Service Package: 1 day on site

Scheduling will be mutually agreed upon by Coverity and Customer.

Process Integration Service Package

The Process Integration Service Package includes all Services provided in the Rapid Implementation Service Package, and also provides integration into the customer’s software development life cycle:

• Automated assignment of defect ownership
• Develop the defect resolution workflow for Coverity detected defects
• Integrate the defect resolution workflow within the customers software development life cycle

Duration of standard Process Integration Service package: 8 days on site.
Upgraded packages with additional days can be purchased for $2400 per day.

• Day 1: Planning, Administrator training (maximum 15 students)
• Day 2-4: Build environment assessment, generate optimal deployment proposal, implement optimal deployment
• Day 5-7: Development process review, determine defect resolution workflow, establish defect ownership, notifications, and reports
• Day 8: Developer training (maximum 15 students)

Team Adoption Guidance Service Package

The Team Adoption Guidance Service Package includes all Services provided in the Process Integration Service Package, and also provides the establishment of quality goals, and management of progress towards those quality goals

• Automatic prioritization of detected defects
• Establish quality goals, create defect resolution timeline
• Management of progress towards quality goals

Duration of standard Team Adoption Guidance Service package: 15 days.
Upgraded packages with additional days can be purchased for $2400 per day.

• Day 1: Planning, Administrator training (maximum 15 students)
• Day 2-4: Build environment assessment, generate optimal deployment proposal, implement optimal deployment
• Day 5-8: Development process review, determine defect resolution workflow, establish defect ownership, notifications, and reports
• Day 9: Developer training (maximum 15 students)
• Day 10: Defect inspection lab with developers (maximum 15 students)
• Day 11: Deployment review and progress report, Administrator Q&A session
• Day 12-14: Coverity project management, determine software quality goals and metrics, establish workflow and progress reports
• Day 15: Developer training review and Q&A session

Defect Resolution Workflow Package

This offering is designed to help you speed resolution of your most important defects. Includes:

• Identify the software quality goals for your team, and establish metrics for measuring progress towards those goals with Coverity Static Analysis.
• Streamline the defect resolution workflow, automating the initial ownership assignment and severity setting for each newly detected defect.
• One day of training to ensure team members are familiar with the new workflow processes.
• Creation of defect-tracking reports and implements automatic notification rules for new issues and outstanding high severity issues.

Duration of standard Defect Resolution Workflow Package: 4.5 days on site. Upgraded packages with additional days can be purchased for $2400 per day.

Enhanced Defect Detection Package

This offering helps you improve the accuracy of your current analysis so you can find more critical defects and ensure that you are getting the most from your Coverity Static Analysis implementation. Includes:

• Fine-tuning of analysis of custom or third-party interfaces for memory allocation and concurrency.
• Analysis of call graph metrics and determination high-value unimplemented functions and models for them. The result is a lower false positive rate and more precise bug detection.
• Update your Coverity Static Analysis installation to the most current version to ensure that you are taking advantage of recent product enhancements.

Duration of standard Automated Defect Workflow Service Package: 4.5 days on site.
Upgraded packages with additional days can be purchased for $2400 per day.
